The Nest Early Education Centre Southport is privately owned and operated by a local Gold Coast family. We strive to be the most excellent childcare centre offering holistic learning to little learners. Our team has many decades of experience in the operation of Early Childhood Centres. The Approved Provider of the childcare centre has broadly studied and worked in education for the past 27 years and brings a wealth of education to the centre.

With our team of passionate Early Childhood Teachers and educators, we are proudly an integral part of our local community. Our team is indeed known for offering boutique-style services.

Outdoor Facilities

We have a wide natural sandstone enclosed sandpit under the shade where kids can build and explore the many unique settings to sand play.
We have added shade to cover the play space so as to protect the children against disturbing elements.
Cushioned turf (synthetic) across the play space confirms protection for the kids.
We offer a broad range of gross motor equipment to assure children develop physical skills to their total capacity.
A separate 0-2-year-old yard assures that our little learners have their own peaceful arena to explore and grow those initial physical skills.

Wide verandahs offer shade and additional space to explore creative activities beyond the classroom.
Some outdoor programs implemented at the Southport childcare centre assure that kids can explore environmental sustainability by green play experiences such as; bird watching, flower gardens, market gardens, vegetable gardens, native beehives, water recycling and composting, etc. We make sure children also experience the essential life skills of watching after animals at various times. We introduce children to pets so that they can learn to care for small animals.
Our resident horticulturists work to keep the children engaged in gardening programs, nurturing their affection for nature and sustainable living.
Moreover, yoga lessons offered to kids daily encourage them to connect with their bodies and grow awareness of well-being.
Fitness lessons weekly by expert fitness teachers surely develop the children’s desire for physical fitness, movement, and health.

Our extracurricular activities are included in your centre fees conducted by industry experts and specialists.

Healthy Eating

Our policy concerning healthy eating ensures that all children attending the centre manifest a profound understanding of good nutrition. Our teachers promote wholesome eating as per the Healthy Eating Pyramid and always pick the food for lunch boxes. The childcare centre in Gold Coast shares knowledge and indeed offers ample opportunities for conversation with educators and management concerning preparing/offering a wholesome lunch.

Opening Hours

Except for gazetted public holidays, our centre operates between 6.30 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday for 52 weeks per year.
